Are you joining us live and in-person for the Author Business Summit 2026? We are incredibly excited to host you for an exclusive, high-impact networking and mastermind experience!
Because our in-person seats are strictly limited to a maximum of 49 attendees, we want to ensure you have all the logistics you need to plan your trip seamlessly. Below you will find all the key details regarding event dates, location, hotel blocks, and travel planning.

The in-person experience spans up to four days, depending on your ticket type. Please plan your travel accordingly so you don't miss a single session!
- Wednesday, August 26th: Evening Welcome Cocktail Reception 🥂
- Thursday, August 27th: Author Business Summit — Day 1 (11:00 AM sharp start)
- Friday, August 28th: Author Business Summit — Day 2 (10:00 AM Bonus Session)
- Saturday, August 29th: Author Business Summit — Day 3 (10:00 AM Bonus Session)

✈️ Travel & Lodging Planning
When should I fly in and out?
- Standard In-Person Attendees: We recommend flying into Austin (AUS) on Wednesday night (or very early Thursday morning) so you are settled in before our 11:00 AM start on Thursday. Plan to fly out on Sunday (though some attendees may be able to catch late Saturday night flights).
- ABS Workshop Attendees: Because the workshop takes place on Wednesday, August 26th, you should fly in on Tuesday night, August 25th.
Accommodations
We highly recommend staying directly at the Hotel Viata to maximize your networking opportunities and keep your commute to the sessions to a minimum.
Food & Dining
To keep you fueled and focused on growing your book business, lunch will be provided for all four days of the event.
🎟️ Ticket Upgrades & Pricing
If you currently hold a virtual General Admission or VIP ticket and would like to upgrade to one of our exclusive live seats, please review the policies below:
- Pricing: The standard in-person ticket is $2,000.
- Ticket Credits: If you already purchased a virtual GA or VIP ticket, that amount will be fully discounted from the $2,000 price. You will simply pay the difference, and our support team will issue you a comped live ticket!
- ABS Members: If you purchase or renew a Business Author Mastermind membership, your in-person ticket price will be discounted directly from your purchase.
⚠️ Important Reminder: In-person tickets are capped at 49 seats maximum to keep the mastermind environment intimate and actionable. Once they are gone, we cannot add more.
