Step 1: Share Your Ideas
You’ll begin by completing our guided AI interview, Quillette.
This is where everything starts. Through a series of thoughtful prompts, you’ll walk us through your ideas, experiences, and goals for the book. You’ll also have the opportunity to upload any supporting materials, such as notes, past writing, or research.
Think of this as getting everything out of your head and into our hands in one focused, efficient step.
Step 2: We Build Your Book’s Blueprint
Once we’ve reviewed your interview and materials, we create a detailed outline for your book. This typically takes up to one week.
Your outline is the structural foundation of your manuscript. It maps out the flow of ideas, chapters, and key themes, ensuring everything is clear, cohesive, and aligned with your vision.
You’ll receive the outline for review and have up to two rounds of revisions to refine it until it feels exactly right.
Step 3: We Lock in Your Voice
With the outline finalized, we write your first chapter.
This step is all about capturing your voice. It allows you to see how your ideas translate onto the page and give feedback on tone, style, and pacing.
You’ll review the chapter and let us know what feels right and what needs adjusting. Once we’ve aligned on your voice, we carry that forward into the full manuscript.
Step 4: We Write Your Full Draft
After your voice and direction are set, we write the complete manuscript based on your approved outline and feedback.
When the draft is ready, we’ll send it to you for review.
You’ll have the opportunity to read through the document and leave comments wherever you’d like changes, additions, or refinements.
Step 5: We Refine and Finalize
We carefully implement your feedback, making any necessary revisions to ensure the manuscript feels true to your voice and vision.
Our goal here is simple: when you read your book, it should feel like you wrote it—just with expert structure and polish behind it.
Final Delivery
Once revisions are complete, you’ll receive your finished manuscript.
At this stage, you’ll have a fully developed draft that reflects your ideas, your voice, and your message, ready for the next step in your publishing journey.
